I’ve read a few books by Samantha Towle, and I decided I was finally ready to jump into this one。 And boy, is it ever good! Because of the premise - Taylor is dying of brain cancer - the book is highly angsty。 She had brain cancer in the past, and she recognizes the signs, but she decides not to go to the doctor and seek treatment。 Her family died a few years ago, and she feels responsible for their death。 So, she’s ready to pay for her mistakes and rejoin them in the afterlife。 Before she dies, I’ve read a few books by Samantha Towle, and I decided I was finally ready to jump into this one。 And boy, is it ever good! I don’t usually cry while reading books, even the super angsty ones (for some reason I bask in others’ pain–let’s not over-analyse that) but towards the end, the tears were streaming down my face。All in all, this is a five-star read from me! Is there a HEA? (view spoiler)[ Yes! (hide spoiler)]Trigger warnings: (view spoiler)[Off the page family death, cancer, self-destructive/suicidal thoughts (hide spoiler)] 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 *4。5 stars*I genuinely loved this story。 I got it months ago and had been putting off reading it for well months and then the other day I decided to just pick it up and read it and I’m telling you, that was definitely one of the best decisions I’ve made。 When I first started reading The Ending I Want, I felt that it wasn’t my type of book, that everything was just out of place, but I wanted to give the books a chance and I’m damn glad I did, because although the beginning wasn’t my favourite, I *4。5 stars*I genuinely loved this story。 I got it months ago and had been putting off reading it for well months and then the other day I decided to just pick it up and read it and I’m telling you, that was definitely one of the best decisions I’ve made。 When I first started reading The Ending I Want, I felt that it wasn’t my type of book, that everything was just out of place, but I wanted to give the books a chance and I’m damn glad I did, because although the beginning wasn’t my favourite, I loved the development through the story, and I eventually came to absolutely love the start of the story, the start of their story。 My initial thought of the book has changed from if-fy, to inlove。 Liam stole my heart along with Taylors。 She may not have gotten the ending she initially wanted, but she definitely got the ending she needed, a devoted and generous sex god of a man。 Liam is absolutely perfect, he did absolutely everything for Taylor。 Liam was completely heartbroken when he learned that Taylor wanted to join her family, when he thought that his love for her is not enough for her to keep fighting — it broke my heart as well。 And thank god for Eddie because if it weren’t for him, Taylor may never have changed her mind。 Liam has a great friend there and definitely one that many should have, Eddie is a priceless gift。 Anyways, the story of Taylor and Liams love is amazing, it was essentially lust-at-first-sight, Taylor kissed Liam after only a greeting of "Hello" and "Hi" were exchanged, Liam was also very willing, as well as Taylor, to just got to the bathroom on the plane and enjoy each other, but the wait from the plane to Liams apartment was probably the best type of torture, making their first time together even better。 I initially did not like Taylor because of her way of thinking, she deserves to die and join her family because she asked her mom to wash her lucky hoodie, but I tried to put myself in her shoes and I could understand why she blamed herself and thought the way she did。 Taylor was also alone and tormented, she never spoke about what happened until Liam and that was her downfall。 Taylor’s parents fought with her through the first tumour and regardless of them now being dead, they would have wanted her to keep fighting and if they were still alive would have fought with her all over again。 I can only imagine they’d have been just as heartbroken as Liam by her decision。 Taylor made so many bad decisions, but I’m the end she realised what she was losing and decided to fight and I’m so damn proud of her for that。I adore Liam, he had faced so many hardships with his father and mother, having to live with a druggie mother and her boyfriend, a complete dead-beat dad who was out of the picture, I admire him for coming out of that strong and determined, ready to prove to everyone that he wasn’t his parents and made a name for himself, becoming the owner of an airline, a finance company and a failing hotel chain that he rebranded and made big。 Liam is the perfect role model, if he were a real person, but even still as a fictional character。 He is admirable and his generosity is a whole other story。 Liam is a fighter, for himself and for others, he’s as selfless as a person can be, he’s the type of guy that anyone would ever want — dominant, selfless, kind, generous and a sex-god。 Liam is the ultimate prize。 And Taylor won!! 。。。more

- I expected angst and an emotional read but this book is just fluff and smut。 The book is all about how and where she wants to have sex and this 30 years old billionaire and CEO of an airline has all the time in the world to make her wishlist come true。- It was cringy and predictable。- The H was too good to be true and not a captivating characterI hated how he called her Boston all the time, it was quite annoying。- There was simply no depth ! no struggle, no strong emotions, nothing ! HOLY SH*T。 I was so NOT prepared for this book。 I thought it was just going to be about a girl finding herself and making peace with the disease that has rattled her once before and come back with vengeance。 But this was so much more。 It taught all sorts of life lessons。 What took me the most by surprise was the SPICE in this book, I didn't see it coming but ooooo was it so good。Taylor was on a plane, about to take off for England when a handsome stranger sits down next to her。 Ironic as Taylor HOLY SH*T。 I was so NOT prepared for this book。 I thought it was just going to be about a girl finding herself and making peace with the disease that has rattled her once before and come back with vengeance。 But this was so much more。 It taught all sorts of life lessons。 What took me the most by surprise was the SPICE in this book, I didn't see it coming but ooooo was it so good。Taylor was on a plane, about to take off for England when a handsome stranger sits down next to her。 Ironic as Taylor was just making her "to do before I die list" multiple lines on that list include something to do with a stranger。 How convenient that Liam is a stranger that chose to sit next to her on the long flight。 Before she knew it she was kissing him, just kissing someone she'd never met! What happens after the plane lands is more than she ever could've imagined。 But the secrets are no longer feeling like secrets, they're feeling like lies。 She tells herself she feels nothing, that Liam feels nothing。 But that might not be true。 But she's not listening to herself anymore。。。 she's only thinking of what she chose to do long ago。"Fear is not rational。 It doesn't give you a choice。 It just is。" 。。。more

I’m In LoveI was a bit hesitant about reading this book but I put on my “big knickers,” on and read this story。 It was truly a rollercoaster and I love every twist and turn。 Taylor and Liam’s story is truly amazing。 Like the rollercoaster it took my breath away, I held on to every twist and turns of each page and I couldn’t put it down until I finished their story。 If you are in need of a reminder of why loving someone and letting love in is truly an amazing experience then read this story becau I’m In LoveI was a bit hesitant about reading this book but I put on my “big knickers,” on and read this story。 It was truly a rollercoaster and I love every twist and turn。 Taylor and Liam’s story is truly amazing。 Like the rollercoaster it took my breath away, I held on to every twist and turns of each page and I couldn’t put it down until I finished their story。 If you are in need of a reminder of why loving someone and letting love in is truly an amazing experience then read this story because it won’t disappoint。 One just needs to be brave! 。。。more

Listen, this book is just *chefs kiss* Normally I don’t write reviews for books but this book had me feeling a certain type of way。 The spicyness, the falling in love and the inevitable heartbreak it was everything and more I could ask for in a book。 I cried, I laughed and everything in between。 5/5!

This book…。where do I even begin。This book toyed with my emotions, throughout the entire thing。 I have to be in a certain mood to read a book that I just KNOW is going to be emotional。 I knew after reading the summary, I would get emotionally invested with this book, and boy was I right。 What book that is about a dying girl wouldn’t be。I was hooked from the start, and finished this in less than a day。 I laughed out loud so many times, as well as almost cried just as many。 It was a beautiful blen This book…。where do I even begin。This book toyed with my emotions, throughout the entire thing。 I have to be in a certain mood to read a book that I just KNOW is going to be emotional。 I knew after reading the summary, I would get emotionally invested with this book, and boy was I right。 What book that is about a dying girl wouldn’t be。I was hooked from the start, and finished this in less than a day。 I laughed out loud so many times, as well as almost cried just as many。 It was a beautiful blend of emotions that the author masterfully wrote。 From start to finish, this book enamored me。 Netflix has made several watt pad stories to movies, and a few books to movies that had almost no plot。 If they are going to make a romance novel into a movie, I would love it to be this one。 It had just as much plot and emotions as it did spicy scenes。 Which is not something I encounter often in romance books。I stumbled onto this book from TikTok, and boy am I glad I did。 100% recommend。 。。。more

It was going to be a 4-star at least but fuck。 This was so good。 The characters were well-written and I just loved both of them。The spice: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 (for me anyway)The humour: 👌👌👌The chemistry: 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯I thought I'd hate an insta-lobe seeing as the main events happened within two weeks。 It didn't feel like that at all。I saw this pass by my IG wall and I thought it'd be one of those disappointing ones。 Well, I was wrong。 I thoroughly enjoyed it! 🌸 It was going to be a 4-star at least but fuck。 This was so good。 The characters were well-written and I just loved both of them。The spice: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 (for me anyway)The humour: 👌👌👌The chemistry: 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯I thought I'd hate an insta-lobe seeing as the main events happened within two weeks。 It didn't feel like that at all。I saw this pass by my IG wall and I thought it'd be one of those disappointing ones。 Well, I was wrong。 I thoroughly enjoyed it! 🌸 。。。more

The Ending I Wanted Loved this story, I loved following Liam and Taylor’s story。 It was funny and sweet with some serious moments。 I got a bit worried with the 6 months later chapter, but very happy with the ending。

Rebecca

Really enjoyed this book。 Was not the easiest book for me to read, my husband passed from a very aggressive brain tumor, but I felt the emotions hard, and that signals a great read for me。

I f*cking LOVED this book。 It made me feel so many emotions — I laughed, I cried, i swooned, I felt butterflies (in both my belly and my 🤭) This book is the whole package and kept me engaged the whole time。I fell in love with Liam during their first encounter。 He was so confident, sexy, funny, and so interested in Taylor。 They were #goalsAF 🫶🏼 I wish I could re-read this book for the first time again🥹 go in blind! You won’t be disappointed。
